吹奏楽、オーケストラ両方の演奏者としての経歴を有し、楽器の特性に精通した編曲者ならではの、演奏しやすいアレンジ。例えば、全体を通じて弦楽器の刻みやトレモロ、そしてarcoとpizzの切り替えによる対比を効果的に用いて、その楽器でしか表現できない役割を与えています。
第１曲「シャコンヌ」の最終小節では、原曲の雰囲気を保つため、弦楽器を無理に参加させず、管楽器のみによる伸ばしを生かしたフェルマータを採用しました。
また、同曲のBrillante部分では、弦楽器をサポート役に徹させ、木管楽器の力を信じた編曲が施されています。これにより、曲の輝きが一層際立ちます。
第２曲「間奏曲」では、ヴィオラにメロディを任せることで、オーケストレーションをすっきりとさせました。さらに、67小節目からのテーマ部分（L'istesso Temmpo）では、原曲通りクラリネットにソロを与え、そのキャラクターを大切にしています。
第３曲「マーチ」の行進曲テーマ部は金管楽器の力量に任せました。そうすることにより、弦楽器を重ねてしまうよりも、シャープで力強い響きが生まれます（原曲でもそうであるように、コントラバスだけにはサポートとして加わってもらっています）。

This New Orchestral version of Holst's masterpiece 'First Suite in E-flat for Military Band,' originally written for wind ensemble, explores new possibilities while preserving the brilliance of the original composition.
The key features of this new orchestration are optimized as follows:
The arrangement is user-friendly, leveraging the expertise of the arranger, who has experience as both a wind ensemble and orchestra performer and is well-versed in instrument characteristics. For instance, throughout the piece, the effective use of string instruments' tremolos and arco/pizzicato contrasts gives roles that can only be expressed by these instruments.
In the final bars of the first movement, "Chaconne," to maintain the original atmosphere, a fermata using only wind instruments without forcing the strings was chosen. Additionally, in the Brillante section of the same movement, the strings play a supportive role, allowing the woodwind instruments to shine.
In the second movement, "Intermezzo," the melody is entrusted to the viola for a cleaner orchestration. Furthermore, from bar 67 onwards (L'istesso Tempo), the clarinet is given a solo as per the original score, highlighting its character.
For the third movement, the march theme is entrusted to the brass instruments, resulting in a sharp and powerful sound instead of layering the strings (as seen in the original score, with the double basses providing support).
